So this is the second time this has happened to me. The batter will not charge at all. But I can connect to the computer with USB just fine. I've tried everything I can think of and it won't charge. The port is clear and looks in good condition. I've reflashed the stock firmware with fastboot. Nothing. The first time Moto replaced it on warranty even though the bootloader was unlocked. I tried that again and they sent it right back to me with the explanation that since the bootloader was unlocked they won't touch it, even for a fee.
So has anyone else had this issue? Is it possibly some sort of software issue that I haven't thought of yet? Or is it hardware and the charging part is different than the USB connectivity part? I only have about 5% battery left so I'm running out of options before I have a paperweight.
Edit to add: I've tried a dozen cables and no go. And all the cables charge all my other devices just fine. This isn't a dire situation as I was able to make a backup and restored the backup to a new X Pure that I bought but I'd like to be able to salvage this one to resell at least.
