modification Nexus 7: HDMI instead LCD

Hallo,

i have a old Nexus 7 1nd 2012 and the LCD is broken.
I would like solder a HDMI-Output instand the LCD.

1. Is that generally possible?
2. Where can I find the LCD interface description?
3. Do I need or where can i find a kind of "gateway" / Converter?
