Can MetroPCS S5 SM-G900T1 on 4.4.2 and TWRP 2.7.0.0 be updated to 6.0 MM rooted?

I have an old MetroPCS S5 SM-G900T1 on 4.4.2 stock rooted with TWRP 2.7.0.0. I'd like to put 6.0 rooted marshmallow on it, is it possible? It won't be used for calls, just wifi games. I'd like the most stripped down, fastest I can get.
