Nokia 8 Shown off in New Render; Rumored to be Announced on July 31

Under its new ownership by HMD Global, the Nokia brand has been used on a handful of mid-to-low-range Android smartphones. So far we've seen the Nokia 3, 5, and 6, and thanks to leakster Evan Blass, we now have our first look at what is supposedly the upcoming Nokia 8.

The Nokia 8 will be the flagship Nokia Android phone in HMD's current lineup, and from a design point of view, the phone looks like a lot of other high-end handsets that are on the market. The front of the phone will reportedly house a 5.3-inch display with Quad HD resolution, and below that are capacitive navigation buttons and a fingerprint scanner.

The back of the phone appears to be rounded off with a metal construction, and this is also where you'll find the Nokia 8's dual-camera setup.  Rumor has it that each sensor will be of a 13MP nature, and we can also see that the camera housing is marked with Zeiss branding (something we expected after HMD's announcement earlier this month).

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor will likely power the Nokia 8, and we should see either 4 or 6GB of RAM. Pricing isn't exact quite yet, but previous online listings indicate that the phone could sell for around $675.
