Pivotal Living App - Can someone make one that isn't cloud based?

So Pivotal Living, the company that made the Pivotal Living Band and Smart Scale, has apparently closed up shot and contracts on their cloud services have recently lapsed. In order to use both of these products, one needs to use the app, which is entirely cloud based. I'm hoping some savvy programmer could modify the app apk so we don't need to login, but instead just install it and use it with the products we own.

Is anyone up to making this app work for the users?
