I've seen a few phone tracking softwares for android out there but didn't find an open source customizable one. I would be interested in an open source project that shows how you can install a permanent service (persistent after reset) on your phone that regularly contacts your own server and eventually allows remote root ssh sessions from this hardcoded server.
Anyone knows such a project, or reverse engineered a commercial one?
