Whenever I setup a new ROM, I like to go in and remove all the stock ringtones, notifications, alarms, and UI sounds, for I know I'll never use them ever.
This, I've done for every Android device I've had up to the Nexus 6.
HOWEVER.......
Things are different on the 6.
Not sure if it's Marshmallow's doing (it might be that-- never had the problem on every other Android iteration pre-MM).
Whenever I delete all the stock sounds, I cannot use my custom sounds-- or, only very few of them would work (notifications).
This happens on every MM ROM I install.
I don't know if anyone else does this, too, but if you do, is there a workaround besides keeping all the stock sounds?
Thanks for any help offered.
