Kind of an odd device, but someone might find this useful. I picked one of these up mainly for use with a completely unrelated device at work. While playing with it, I thought about testing out my LG G5 phone with the device. Turns out it works PERFECTLY! No fiddling with settings or anything. Plugged it in and the phone automatically set it to the right mode, plugged in the VGA cable to my monitor and the phone says "Connecting..." and boom there was my phone screen directly on my monitor. I couldn't think of anything more to try than that so that is all I have tested.
